By "Well my C drive had to be dumped so it's gone" do you mean the computer did it itself or you did it? Because if you did it then you could have saved all your files on your F drive before you cleared your C drive, ether way its to late, sorry to hear your hard work is gone!

Well Norton was on an anti-virus scan an then it caught a virus, unfortunately it was a drive that was deleted. So it was took to a store to get fixed but the guy said he had to dump it, he couldn't save anything. So Shayden has to be restarted.

that sucks. I personaly cant stand norton. I have been using AVG Free for as long as i remember and im an internet junky. I have yet to get a virus... EVER. Its super easy to use and best of all 100% free. Its never caused me problems. Maybe its worth a shot to try it out? If you managed to get a virus with norton running then obviously norton isnt doing its job!

Well the virus wasn't really a virus. It's actually a drive. The guy at the store said that a whole bunch of scanners do that. Norton is just fine for me.

well then your drive crashed and was just corrupted. lol you say virus, i figured it was a virus. Good luck getting a new region started, starting fresh always sucks!

Norton thought it was a virus. And yes restarting a new region does suck. Heck, I can't even start it until the 23rd.

... its going to take a week for him to reformat your harddrive??? Thats bull poop! i can reformat and have my computer up and running in an hour! I cant see what else he has to do to your computer.

Well actually he will have it done today, but we backed up the C drive a few months ago so that will take all night to get put back in. Tomorrow to Friday I'll be too busy to get on. Maybe tomorrow night but I'm not quite sure yet.

Actually a lot of computer stores will tell you "ya, we had a virus and had to reformat" or some BS... truth is the material probably could have been saved, but most customers don't want to pay for it so they pretty much just lie to you.

I've gone there for a while and he is an honest small-business man. I think he would have tried to save it if he could.
