Hello everyone !

I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to install correctly NAM (Network Addon

Mod May 2010).

I saw on several sites varying explanations

blurred.

I deleted the files as indicated, but it crashes the game once I put the name of my city ...

Another question: once installed, where do you saved the .dat files

for additional bridges, buildings ?

In Plugins folder's Applications or Plugins folder's Documents ?

Thank you for your help!

PS : sorry for my bad english...i'm Français 4.gif

It isn't difficult. Simply unzip the NAM for Mac, then follow the install instructions. You just have to make sure that you only have one copy of each type of traffic controllers, and only RHD or LHD, not both.

The .dat files for Additional bridges, go into the Additional Bridges folder inside the NAM folder.

There is no NAM Essentials for Mac specifically, and I'm not sure FileJuicer will work on it since we switched from Clickteam to NSIS on it. However, despite its name, NAM Essentials is not necessary if you already have NAM Version 30. My recommendation would be to not bother with Essentials.

All the files that are included in NAM Essentials r132 it are already in NAM Version 30 (hence why the full title of this NAM version is "NAM Version 30 with Essentials r132"), and there should be some large red text on the NAM Essentials download page advising users of this fact.

We are planning to go to a "monolithic" approach with NAM Version 31, and as a result of that, NAM Essentials will most likely cease to exist. We'll probably have a "controller package" set up similar to it in case we ever need to release corrections to the central RUL files, but it'll most likely take a different name. The "Essentials" name has basically caused nothing but confusion, and as a NAM Team member, I've not been particularly fond of it. While the name made since for what we originally intended to use the package for when it was initially introduced (with NAM Version 21 in June 2007), since then, it's anything but "essential", and is just draining bandwidth.
