i see your computer is way enought strong to run this game =)

try update every driver in your computer.

try run the game with administration privilages(*run as administrator right click*)

try different settings in-game( change the resolution, anti-alissing....etc)

i hear the first time for that problem.

what does your log file say (near the bottom when it crashes)? your Log folder can be found here (on vista/7) : C:\Users\*you*\AppData\Local\Monte Cristo\Cities XL\log

you can open the log file with any regular text reader.

also, are you on the current version of the game and have downloaded the C++ 2005 (or maybe it's 2008) redistributable from microsoft?

Another strong runner that cant play the game...I feel your pain. Although SLI works for me, Have you maybe tried disabling it yet to see if that may be a cause for your problem? 3D clocks for our cards dont kick in until the game screen displays an image. When my cards are overclocked and become unstable they display for a moment and then kick me out of the game. The game is minimized so it doesnt actually stop running. Is this something youre experiencing? or does it do something else?

also, Ive had one of the newer video cards and from what I gather from others' experiences is that this game has issues with GDDR5 memory equipped cards. This is only apparent when you have many many buildings placed. Im hoping for a fix from FHI.

Also, what wattage is that PSU youre using. It doesnt sound "reliable"

-If its less than 750 watts, you need another psu. That series is ~75%efficiency @750w rating =580 watts usable. Half of that is gone with both of those cards just sitting there looking cool, or hot being Fermi 4.gif

The problem with my verison is my game crahses. I can change settings and all but as soon as i click toutorial or play game, it laggs and then crashes.

My cards brand new i just recently built this system and i have a bunch of fans on this thing so heat isn't a problem for me. My power supply is 1000 wat power supply. The name sounds funny cause its xion's limited edition modualr power supply, as well its 80 plus efficentsy and also has the Nvidia SLI ready badge. http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4398389&Sku=A406-1113 theres the link if you would like a look?
