Activation Key Issue

I just received the game after ordering 5 days ago, but now it says that my activation key is not valid or already registered.

Monte Cristo cannot be contacted for any support on this game anymore. Seriously I'm so pissed off right now, as I'm experiencing for the 2nd time a huge dissapointment when buying a sim city game.

If this doesn't get solved today, I'm returning the game and will not buy the 2011 game.

Bol.com + I just received an email from them acknowledging that the key is faulty and I have to sent ithe game back. They can't sent me a new one because they are now going to check the complete stock for similar issues

Last time was when they suckered me into buying sim societies and I can still feel the pain of that one, so I'm really done with this.

Please, what other place? From reading the threads just now, All the Cities XL stock seem to be affected. If you buy online now, your payment is auto refunded.

It is still here and there, I live in South Africa and got it in some small shop in the corner of a mall. Just look, and you will find.

I followed your advice and ordered somewhere else, received it last evening and tested it immediatly: IT WORKED

I actually feel bad now for ranting like that, because I played for hours on end since I received it. The game is actually much better as was portrayed and marketed.

Anybody who has activation codes that don't work has two choices - pursue a refund or complain to trading standards that FHI are selling a product that they know to be unusable through no fault of the consumer's.

Frankly the longer trading standards remain out of the picture, the FHI will be able to avoid supporting the product that they're still making money from selling.
