Downloading maps

    Hey all,

    Im a newbie to sc4 and love it. I have tried to download new regions from simtropolis but only get a picture of the map, not the actual region ready for gameplay.  Do i have to convert this map into a region? if so, how? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to Simtropolis...

    Once the regions are downloaded, they need to be rendered for game play. See this Omnibus article for more information. Be sure to note the type of map it is - greyscale or SC4Terraformer.

    Also, going to move this to the Mapping Community Board Room.
