Welcome To My BAT Thread!!

This was suggested to me by a few users after my release of the Phackett Building, you can look at it yourself here:

But Anyway, I'm Starting up and will supply pics of my Next building:
Here's Stats:
1Coleman Center
Building type:Commercial, Landmark, Growable
Cost: 32,499 Simoleons
As a matter of fact, it's right on my pic on the top! 3.gif im so slow

Well, its a nice start, but it is far from being done. I'm a little confused, is that an actual render or is it simply a screen grab from gmax? It has all sorts of odd issues that I don't really understand.

    it's an actual render, but i didnt know how to save the image so i used printscreen. i'll upload pics from SC4 later 1.gif44.gif

    What Textures should i use?? (i already did the antennas)

    For us to realy understand what it looks like, we need to see preview renders. Pick something that will complement the design of the building, just make sure it doesn't have any obvious tiling, blown out overly bright colors, or obnoxious pattern.

    Makiing preview renders now, but i don't know where to get the textures, can you point me in the right way?

    DO NOT just take them from the site and paste on your model (except for doors, signs, and the like) you will need to edit the images quite a bit to get them to look presentable in gmax. You will probably need to crop, adjust hue, saturation, value, contrast, etc. before you have a suitable bitmap.

    Photoshop would be the best case scenario, but GIMP (google it) is a powerful alternative plus its free. You will need an image editor like this to make useful textures.

    Okay, Im back after a long 2 days. Sorry, My comp's hard drive locked up into an invalid state, so everything's erased for now. Rebuilding my Building! so expect updates Latar!
