Hello everybody

I don't know how to describe my problem really but I'm going to try

I've created different lots but with the same building, I would want that each lot created has his own desc. files, I've try to make a save as with the reader but the problem is that I don'y know how to link my lot to the new desc file, if someone can help me please...9.gif

The .desc file is related to a building or a prop. It is not related to a lot file.

If you want your building to have different stats depending on the lot it's in then you'll need to create multiple .desc files (one for each variation) using the plugin manger, making sure to give each one a different name. You can then use ILive reader to adjust the stats of each to your liking. Then you simply go into the Lot Editor (LE) and replace the building with the appropriate variation for that particular lot.

Believe in only what you can prove.

And each one serves a purpose in the building. If not for the lot the props wouldn't be there. If not for the desc, when you get it in the game it would say "type your name here" and it wouldnt have a query or anything, just the building. And if not for the model file, the building would show up as a brown box.

I have downloaded two or more variations of the same building that will grow in the game. Like if you want the same building with different colors or dimensions to grow, this should be possible.

I have 2 IM1 buildings that grow on different size lots. They look the same and have the same stats but they have different instances. They both should be able to grow in my game, maybe not in the same area, but at or around the same time, or separate depending on the in game demand.
