Well, as I saw my post has been edited, so as moalkind I'll post here my opinion about this city journal.

Sloppet, your previous city journal had 5 pages without acity picture. And now it's only one update and it has 3 pages... It's very weird! Why do you want to have a city journal which is boring and uninteresting? Show us some more pictures! In this way of posting updates you will never have a city journal as good as for example bostalk by cjah!  I think you should make this city journal interesting for everyone, not just for you and 2s, because he is also from poland.. Sloppt, make this cj more interesting!

Interesting... Is this what Poland looked like in the Xth century AD? As I understand from the update they still had some nature-based form of worshipping (similar to mythology like the Skandinavian and Germanic tribes I suppose)

I see that the influence of Christianity reached as far as Germany in those times, and hadn't reached Poland yet. If I remember correctly from history lessons I had years ago, the empire of Charles the Great stretched out over almost entire western Europe, in an attempt to create an empire which had to be as great as the Roman empire (which collapsed some 500 years earlier). With the expansion of this empire, Charles attempted to convert Europe to Roman Catholicism. As far as I know the empire covered the area from Italy and Spain in the south to France in the west, to Germany and Holland in the north (which weren't actual 'countries' as we now know them, but merely a collection of separate city-states, tribes and strongholds, eventually merging into one empire under Charles the Great)

    Great update!

I had no idea Poland was it's own nation in that early of time. I always thought that was Anglo-Saxon territory. Learn something new every day! Anyway i really wanna see pics of your region your tactic of making people wait and gain anticipation is working marvelously! Great work as always.

    Cheers!

First visit here, nice beginning for a CJ.
I have had a fascination for Eastern Europe and its history for many years and especially Poland.
    Looking forward to more updates.
