I know what you mean by wanting to make a CJ that is particularly interesting because so many CJ's now are just so incredible and unique; it's developed into a veritable art form for many people. Historical CJ's are definitely interesting and provide a different perspective to the game, and so far you've done well at presenting Cleres. And welcome back too!

Great start of a City Journal. I have to say that I have not seen a City journal, with such an interesting beggining. This s.l. history is very sad.. I hope you will change it a bit in the future... Oh, and posting the History in a City Journal is a very good idea. This map of Poland, which you shown us is very good, now we will know where Cleres is, like you've said. I'm only wondering how come did you get this number of replies? That's really interesting. Only 30 posts in such a great CJ. Even if it has one week... Good luck ! 2.gif

Yes, great historical CJ! That is what I did not want to say yet; I knew it was true story. That it happened, is the tragedy, my friend. How can I not read more. Beautiful CJ, all around!

Wow Sloppet, this is really getting interesting! You know much more about the ancient history of Poland than i do of Holland;s history (where I'm from); I really love history, and I've always been much interested in it (right now I'm busy learning for an exam on the history of Western Philosophy); it seems your cj has become a place where game and education meet! Didn't know for example about the myth of the Lech, the Czech and the Rus (I saw a documentary once on Discovery about the roots of Scandinavia and the Vikings; there they stated that the 'Russians' descended from a particular group of Vikings, that moved to Russia and followed the course of the river Wolga, and eventually settled there, forming eventually what we now know to be Russia.
Btw, didn't the Magyars eventually settle in Hungary? I do know that the Hungarians are no slavic people, but have the same roots as the Finns...
Great update; you made me want to learn more!

Good to see you Sloppet back. I'm glad that you're felling better. I have to admit, that I didn't saw a City journal with the same start as your's. The updates are nice. This map of Poland where Cleres is located is really good! It looks ok. Well, I hope to see some historical maps of this part of Europe, and maybe you will tell us more about S.L.  I'm looking forward for the next update!! 16.gif

people. let us not risk this journal's future by arguing with ourselves. i suggest all comments for here on be constructive - and that we all get along with ourselves, or the history of this journal will be a short one.

Ok so here without arguing with otheres I'll write why I do not like this cj.
    1. There is a cj without any pictures of a city! This is this cj! I really cannot understand how people can like it. I find it boring and that's all.
    2. Maybe sloppet you could show us some pictures, it would be good for us to know how this cleres looks like! Please think about it!
    3. Well, this isn't about this cj, but thank you mr.cinatit for your work!

    Ok
