Lakes, Creeks and Streams?

I just started creating a map of my hometown in the Rocky Mountains and may have just discovered that Sim City 4 is incapable of lakes, creeks, and streams.... Really?! Seems I remember an older game that let me put water on my maps. My city's in the valley and the water's in the mountains around here.

Even though the SimCity game cannot produce realistic lakes, rivers, and streams (you'd have to make them at sea level in order for water to appear), there are plenty of ploppable lakes, streams, and other accessories. Pegasus has some great river/stream stuff, and Peg's PPOND kit can be found here. These types of ponds aren't actual water, per say. They are just eye candy, but sure can look great if put down correctly. The biggest advantage of these ploppable ponds is that they can go up terrain, instead of needing to be at sea level.
