Some Addons don't work...!

Hi everyone, I just have a problem on some of the buildings that I have downloaded here from Simtropolis in my Simcity 4, they do not appear to be working, when I select them and place them... they appear in a shape of a brown gift box, which really confuses me.

Does that mean that the file is curropted or something??? However, this problem appears on only some of the files I've downloaded especially from the landmark category.

First, do you have SC4 Deluxe? Most downloads on the site require it. If you do, you are missing what are known as "dependencies". These are other files that contain items used on the lot. Brown boxes mean you are missing a model file fro something. Check the download instructions for the files you downloaded for needed dependencies. Also, if you are using lots that use Maxis buildings as props, you will need to get two bldgprop files to put in your plugins. You can find links and information here (Link).
