In big cities is it normal to put 5 or 6 large hospitals in one spot? With all the skyscrapers, they just keep filling up. Is this normal? Same with Schools.

Heres the http://img180.imageshack.us/i/animation003001.jpg/ picture which shows my hospitals,

and heres the http://img130.imageshack.us/i/animation004000.jpg/ picture that shows my schools.

It's pretty normal, it needs to be more spread out to cover the rest of your city though. It's pretty strange how your city only has 338,000 while I only developed like 1-2/4s of my city and have like 141,000.

Well, its a medium sized city. Whenever i try the big sized city, theirs always people withought jobs. here though, i never see that briefcase but i always see "TEACHERS DROP CHALK AND WALK!" and "PEOPLE ARE DYING!" in the bar at the bottom. The schools cost so much!

Did you try to use the cheat you don't deserve it and put a disease research center. You might need a money tree or something to boost your funds. They always have to fund schools and hospitals above the white solid line.

That is pretty normal. Try looking in the STEX for higher capacity hospitals (LBT released a nice set of them) and less costly schools. These often have a wider coverage area as well.

I second this, if you want high capacity hospitals LBT has some great ones to use - I use them all the time.

Or, better yet, reduce bus/ambulance funding, even to 0! The radius is still big enough (I'm talking about high-capacity schools and hospitals). You'll save a lot of money, and you'll still have high quality of service.

Yeah its normal, But if you're tired of placing multiple maxis hospitals in one spot try searching for BSC's Mercy General Hospital. It has a capacity of 50,000 and the radius of an entire medium city tile and it doesent cost you an arm and a leg to build and maintain. The bulding is resonably sized too, the scale fits in with most medium or large urban areas, I think it sits on a 8x8 lot. However I'm not sure if I got it here on the STEX or on the LEX....

    EDIT:

    Hey I found it!

    https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=121

Its on the SC4 devotion's LEX. You will need to become a memeber of that site as well inorder for the download tab to appear. Hope this helps ya out!

I agree with the LBT hospitals and schools. I have a question, though: Is the number of patients the number of beds, or the total in a month? Medical centers have, usually, beds for hospitalization and ambulatory attention (we call that 'boxes' in Chile), and a medical center with 3.000 beds usually cover larges districts of a city.
