I think this would be a very desired mod. Too bad it's not all in one place but I do think you'd find this to be popular if you put the effort in.

Another thought I had, would it be possible to make the harbors placeable anywhere, not just in the "harbor link zones"?

    it might be easier (not sure have not looked my self) to just modify the map files to allow harbor links everywhere

    And if you figure that out, you might be able to make it possible to place road connections anywhere on the edges of the map, no matter how close another such connection is.

    Maybe... but trade abilities aren't the only reason to have road connections. Personally I would like it just so I can connect my city up how I like and have it look how I want.

    Currently I have plenty of road connections for my city of 6 million plus to survive comfortably with plenty of trade back and forth. But not all my roads connect where I'd like, and I don't like how some roads just dead end into nothing becaue I can't connect them to the outside world.

    Of course this may just be me and I'm not the one making the mod, so feel free to ignore me, but maybe there are others who feel the same way.

    yes you right, very sorry I tested it when they both in game and now I delete Business Hotel and game crach too, I fix it soon

    Wow, is it now possible to make our own buildings for CXL? Also, with changing textures, could we possibly now make new fast food chains, shops and real life business company offices? Etc., etc.

    ya i was trying to mod it to do that. And I have it working but for some reason its pulling up as a pharmaceutical factory not a gas station for me so its hampering my progress trying to figure out why, even with his mod not mine it does that, even with no mods at all but his 1 mod it does it so yaa im confused
