Unlockables

Just a question, is there any way to get some buildings and other unlockables, like highway's, immediately when starting a new city?

it's driving me crazy, especialy the highways. With simcity i've always built the highways first, and then the city itself. Now i've gotta plan everything ahead, and leave these enormous open spaces around my cities, or destroy almost everything when trying to build a highway...

besides, i saw a picture of someone that had just started a new city, and was already building a highway!

There's an option in the "Options Menu" called 'Expert Mode' that allows all buildings, zones and roads to be available all at once (except the special "reward" buildings like the car dealership or the Power Logistics Center). That ought to get you what you want.

Be warned that highways are very expensive, especially the upkeep for a highway connection to the outside world. So if you aren't using a money cheat you may have troubles...
