HELP - flowers, trees, fountains and other props are GONE

My old buildings are not effected, but whenever I try to build a new building it lacks the flowers, trees, fountains and other proprs.  It looks like hell and makes the buildings boring and unrealistic.  I downloaded some of the updates and all of a sudden, new buildings suck and don't have props.

Like for example, if I put a small plaza, it will not have the fountain that goes in the middle, if I put a gazebo, it will not have the flowers on the side.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I suspect that it was the SFBT essentials that caused it but I don't know. Is that possible? Solutions?

I don't think it is the SFBT essentials that caused it, so don't remove that. Have you tried setting your graphics to a higher quality?

I also have a problem with a bush, that doesn't appear in the SFBT roundabout fillers.

Thanks for the reply. Its not the graphics, the parks and buildings that I placed BEFORE downloading and installing several files still have all the props. But anything new that I build does not.

Doublecheck all the dependency's once again. There is not much else you can do.

The thing is, its not the new buildings alone that don't have props, even the buildings that start with the default sim city, such as parks, no longer have their flowers and trees.

Can you post a screenshot? Does the problem affect the entire city, or is it restricted to a certain area? It might be a case of the Prop Pox.

It seems to be the whole city - I solved it. It took a while but I reinstalled the game and re did the mods and plug ins. It really sucked by now it looks like things are back to normal.

that happened to me a while ago, i downloaded the 'SKU1 update' thinking that it would help fix some common bugs in the game but, like what you're experiencing, i couldnt even place vanilla buildings like the large park or the elementary school because they would be missing common default props. eventually i reinstalled the game. it was worth it though cuz it allowed me to organize my plugin folder. but it looks like you figured that out already.
