Sim City 4 Won't run after installing custom content

why wont sim city 4 run after installing a bunch of custom content? all that happens is it runs as a process when I click on the icon. it was fine until i added a bunch of custom buildings.

it might take a while to start up.....i have a ton of custom content in my game, and sometimes it takes as little as 2 min to start up, and sometimes as long as 30 min.......how long are you waiting before you give up?

I don't know if we have the same problem, but what happens to me is: When I close SC4, the window will close, but the process is still running. That might be what is happening to you. (When this happens, I can't run SC4 till I kill the Process). Just go into Task Manager, close the task, then start SC4.
