"Outgame" transport mapping?

Hi all, I have a question! How do you make your transportation maps, i've seen various maps made by players for their 'cityjournals. Iwould like to know  what tools you use or programs. I would like to draw a nice map with my bus route system.

... Maybe you just use paint but, i think you alla use different programs,any tips?

I know a lot of people use photoshop for theirs. I personally use MS Paint, since I don't have photoshop.

 

Below is a tutorial that helped me make quality maps for SC4, using only MS Paint.
