Interesting idea to make a planned community outside the main part of the city. The map adds to the feel. A sort of utopia of urban planning, perhaps, with dense housing and stores within walking distance, replete with traffic calming roundabouts, all encased in its own little community.

It's been a while since I've been here but things are looking great of course. The mosaic and region view are nice for perspective.

It looks as though I am starting Page 17.

   Those pictures look familiar.  Nice story added though.  As for the village, I liked the stuctures I just thought it a bit out of place/not practical.   It looked great and I bet your sims love to be a bit away from the city.

Thanks guys... Railrod - Those pictures were just taken. The area though was already seen in this city journal. Remember my update about the Olympics a while ago? Well, now its only between Cabel Bay and Wood County. Just informing everyone here.

It seems that Cabel bay needs some Athletes villages and some tennis and swimming centres to be ready for the games! Very nicely designed cities and the tropical islands look great and very beautiful. Look forward to more!

Those stadiums look fantastic, Mike.. Cabel Bay is very beautiful indeed.. A little too tropical for my taste, but hey.. Who can argue about that, right? You've done a fantastic job with this CJ.. Keep it up!

Galena has a great athlete's village ready for the athletes that are travelling to the republic to play in the Olympics. Take a look below!

The Athletes Village is situated right along the Cabel Bay in the greatest city in the republic, Galena. The Superdome, Tennis Stadium, and Palmland Field, are all here, as well as some other smaller convention centers where games could be held.

Great Job on the SIOC Areas! Right now during the holiday i prolly wont be able to work on mine but its nice to see that you have already started....

and if you need any security help if you win then the DPD [Duchati Police Department] has pleaged 500 officers, 50 SWAT teamers, and 500,000 simoleans. The police chief said is doing this because Duchati and Galena have been allies for so long that it would be evil not to help out

I love your olympic city. And all those beaches make me just wanna go to a warm, sunny and lush place in the south. I'm dying at -2 degrees celsius we have now .
