Negative 6000 RCI demand?

Hi,

I decided to start a new city in my region and the only things I've done is to put down a road connecting it to an existing road of the neighboring city tile, and some RHW roads I think to make one curve.

However then I noticed that the RCI meter is completely tanked out and showing all negative RCI demand, like to the bottom of the scale at more than -6000

What would cause this on a new city tile that doesn't even have any buildings placed in it yet?

I then went to another tile and started a city there and the RCI is normal over there.  If I go to the city tile that is connected to the city that has the huge negative rci demand, everything is normal over there.

Try to fast forward a week or two. Once a city is being created, there is no demand. It will be calculated and adjusted once time starts to go.

Thanks, you are correct. Once I fast forwarded the game a short time the RCI shot way up high and it's been there ever since and no matter how much R and C that I build it's staying way up there. I guess my neighboring city tile must be keeping it up so high for some reason that I am failing to see. Not that I'm complaining mind you, I rather enjoy being able to build all the R and C that I want and have the game build on the zones that I lay almost immediately even though the city is now getting quite large.
