My favorite card game, hmm... how about the one from Final Fantasy VIII? It's a card game, so it counts! 

If you haven't played it before (shame on you! ) what you do is you pick 5 cards, each has 4 numbers on it for a top, right, left, and bottom level, and you place one card at a time on a 3x3 grid, trying to flip over your oppenents cards (if they have a smaller number then you). You win by having the most cards at the end!

As an old codger, I suppose I have played most card games.  I dislike poker in any form and blackjack as far too random, an in the case of blackjack using Vegas rules loaded in favor of the house.

I guess my favorite card games are Bridge and Eucre.  There is a three player variant of Eucre called Tweny-one or Bust which can be a lot of fun on a stormy day.

I like both regular Bridge and Duplicate.  At one time I was quite an avid tournament player.

Eucre is more for just having fun with some friends.  Little Eucre tournaments can be a lot of fun and often quite inexpensive to join in.  I've spent a lot of time in recreation halls playing Eucre.

Poker is not very easy to me,,, I can get only straight.(that's only twice!) Even this record is when played with my friends.
