Missing Files!

Hello everybody,

I have downloaded "upgradable seaports - version 2".

For this following files are required as dependencies:

- BSC Mega Props JES Vol01

- BSC Mega Props gascooker Vol01

These are not available on STEX!

How can I get them?

Moreover in "readme" it's written "Swamper77's Seaport Support file" must be installed. Unfortunately this file is locked on STEX... Why? And where can I download it?

The BSC files can be found at SC4Devotion (Link). Check the list. You will need to be registered and logged on to the LEX to get the link.

However, about Swamper's support file... The Upgradable Seaports is one of the older attempts at custom seaports. There were several issues with getting custom seaports to function in the game. Swamper's file did offer a way to get things working, but things had to be "just right" or cities could become permanantly corrupted. Since then more reliable methods have been made to ensure proper function of seaports. For that reason, Swamper's older support file was locked and is no longer supported. You might check out the Functional Seaports available from the LEX at SC4Devotion.

I couldn't find them neither on LEX, so I have uninstalled the seaports!...

Why so hasty? Take your time to read carefully, and you wouldn't have had any problems. CaptCity provided you with a link to the BSC Dependency List - CLICK HERE - which, in turn, contains links to all the packages you need. (They are HERE and HERE).

It appeared that the dependencies were/are already installed, but still the seaports did not run! (not available in game menu)

Regarding "read carefully" please notice that english is not my native language and there might be things I do not understand well even reading carefully...
