Hey guys i recently bought the game and i was wondering if there were any useful cheats that can be used...preferrably cheats for money.

For money, just let your city run for a while. Anyway, over 10 millions, it's useless. It's the balance that count. You must be positive in your entry of cash to be able to make deals.

There's no cheats for now...you can find some mods (at your own risks) that give you cash and made trade with Omnicorp more easy!

There's a sandbox mod available at Citiesxs that is easy to use and has caused no problems for me.

You can give yourself cash and more importantly (addressing cm39's point) you can change the Omnicorp buy and sell rates to put yourself in the black pretty easily.

OK. Just download the mod and put it where that link tells you (in the Paks folder I believe.)

Then when you load the game, there will be a menu option to enter sandbox mode.

Once in it, you can go to options and you will have the ability to enter a cheat menu, there you can give yourself cash and set the Omnicorp buy and sell prices. Make sure you set the right one high and the right one low! Get some contracts selling things (or even buying and then reselling things) and soon you will have a nice profit coming in. I think my city has $1 billion right now.

Just tried the 'sandbox' mod...

Works well for me.

One thing to keep in mind... When you change the Omnicorp buy/sell prices, they will reset back to default prices every time you load the game. But, whatever active contracts you saved with your city will remain at the altered prices.

You might also notice that the contracts will also lapse after a certain point too, for me its after 5 days or so in game time.
