NAM Traffic Automata Question

I have a silly and simple question regarding the NAM Automata plugins - what is the difference between "Radical" and "Radical-24 Hour"? I've tried both, but I'm not sure I see what the difference is, and the description in the readme seems rather vague

You will only see a diffrence if you use the day/night cycle mode. There will be no diffrence in just day or just night mode.

Radical- Normally the game has more cars during the day than at night, Radical keeps that and increases the numbers so that there is more than normal everwhere, but you will notice that it is less or more depnding on the time of day.

Radical 24 Hour- This ignores the game defualt of having diffrent car amounts depending on the time of day. There will always be the same amonut of cars all the time.

Thanks Xyloxadoria! I wondered whether the time of day/rush hour effect was visual when you stayed on daylight mode, now I know. I alternate between day and day/night mode, so I'll stick with Radical.
