Zones Data View display problems

I recently started playing the game again after several years of hiatus.  I got some of the more popular mods and downloads, and now I find going into the Zones Data View to be incredibly annoying: only the buildings disappear, everywhere else is  filled with trees, shrubs, windows, fences, and all the little building highlights and doodads are still there.  Worse, I can see partly underground at the subways and water pipes.  Any idea what would cause this?  Zone Data view is a vital tool for me.

The mods and downloads I am using are:

  • the latest NAM (with SAM Street and RHW addons)
    • Grain field  by HunD88
    • Low Wealth Commercial Shops Volume 1 by madhatter106
    • CPTNo7AssortedTreeControllers by cycledogg
    • PEG WATER MOD Brigantine by pegasus
    • Street Cul-de-sac Mod by Qurlix
(I do realize that I could uninstall all the above and add one at a time to see who the offending plugin is, but maybe it's not a plugin problem, that there's something else going on and maybe someone out there has seen this before.)

It's not really a "problem." That is a charactersitic added to the newest NAM version. (I think it's the last optional item in the installer setup.) It was created so that small items (like bus and sub stations) could be seen in areas of tall buildings, making them easier to find. You can remove the effect and return to the normal view by removing the file NetworkAddonMod_Zone_Data_View from the NAM folder in your plugins.
