Hello, as I have 'paused' New Manhattan I now show you Leopolis.

The village of Leopolis as seen from the hills. The industrial area is in the back.


One of the first neighbourhoods of Leopolis.

Leopolis has many room for expansion. How will it develop? Who'll be the new inhabitants? Will they help Leopolis to be a great city?

Cashflow: 25.000 and rising. It was 50.000 but i've improved the city services.

Inhabitants: 45.000

Average satisfaction: 8.5

Unskilled satisfaction: 8.6

Skilled satisfaction: 8.2

Executitives satisfaction: 7.8

Elites satisfaction: 7.5(!)

The services are very handy to increase satisfaction.

I like the first village of your city, kind of reminds me of those old industrial towns where the owner of the factory would provide housing for the workers. Looking forward to your updates.

At first: Thanks for all the nice comments! Really appreciated!!

The city now has 55.000 inhabitants.

The traffic is still under control, as everything is depending on the highway structure of the city.

The ford dealer also found a nice place to settle down.

To optimalize the traffic flow, the Nort Link Lane has been created, a fast lane going over the mountains to the industrial area.

Info update!!

Hello everyone, here's some information of Leopolis as it was this afternoon.
Thanks to everyone who commented on my city!

Population: 88.000
Cash: 10,5 million
Cashflow: 30.000

Unskilled sat  : 88
Skilled sat     : 83
Executitives sat:78
Elites sat:  65

There was a problem with the number of jobs for the Elites, but when the mayor heard about this he immediatly planned a new office district. Also he's planning to raise the population to 100.000 at friday.

Then, at friday, two updates will be posted: One about the general information about Leopolis, and the other about the neighbourhoods and the future plans of the city.

Hello, here's update 3!     A bit late, due to time problems.

The city now has 120.000 inhabitants, and the average satisfaction is 7,9!

Cash: 14 million

Cashflow: 35.000

Unskilled sat: 8.7

Skilled sat     : 8.1

Executitives   : 7.5

Elites sat:      6.9

Leopolis has been growing! You can clearly see that in this picture. Highrises are starting to claim the land, but the mayor doesn't want a high densed, overloaded city with millions of inhabitants who aren't happy. So he wants the next housing estates to be medium densed max.

A new district, called Greenlines, has been added and almost the entire district has been filled. Still, there are a few houses unsold, as seen in this shot:

In the new district there are some high density shops, a highschool and a fire station, to keep te satisfaction high. For the new citizens, the planned office + hightec area will offer jobs in the near future.

Also, an old, small office area will be moved downtown to improve the traffic flow and reduce the travel time.

The Brandenburg Gate is well visited. It has been build on a nice location near the lake.

The highway is changing to an expressway for about 200 metres, so the citizens of Greenlines can easily acces the highway.

And, at last, the plans of the nearby future!

The highway from the new district (under discussion) to the office + hightec area (under discussion) Will have  5 lanes on each side. The picture sais it'd be a tunnel but after a long discussion the mayor abandoned it, because it'll cost too much. The highway can in the far future even be transformed into a super-highway with 10 lanes on each side!

Unskilled workers will be needed for the agricultural fields expansion, so in the new district (in discussion) will mostly unskilled workers live.

Update 4 has arrived!

Hello all, Leopolis has grown a lot since it's last big update. It now has 186.000 inhabitants, and the general satisfaction is 8.0, still! The traffic is getting worse, although the citizen's traffic satisfaction is 8.2 on average, and the lowest satisfaction is 8.0 for the traffic, so the citizens aren't having such big problems with the traffic!

Cash: 20 million

Cashflow: 67.000

And here's Leopolis now! Just look how it grew!

As Leopolis wants to attract more tourists, it has opened LeoPro Restaurant! It has a great view over the whole lake and the city itself. Next to LeoPro Restaurant the Kodak Express Shop has been opened.

Here are some pictures from the new office district and the 'highway' leading towards it.

This is the new office district. about 2/5 of the space has been filled with new companies looking for a new home in Leopolis.

This is where the highway forms. Traffic is flowing good, but we are expecting the first traffic jams shortly as the office district is expanding fast. The space on the right has already been filled with homes. This picture was taken yesterday.

Leopolis now has an airport!! It opened two days ago and it's working properly.

Novotel has decided to build a "Holiday Hotel Park". The name says it..

Here's the traffic overview. It's getting a bit busier in Leopolis. The new office district is on the left, and the industrial area on the right.

Leopolis now has 213.000 inhabitants an dis nearly as big as New Manhattan.

Cashflow: 53.000

Average satisfaction: 8.1!

Today I'll show you the northern and the southern districts in Leopolis, Pictures of the city ofcourse and a new building...

Novotel has build the Honkong City Gate! I love it because it gives Executitives and Elites +1% satisfaction same as the Kodak Express Shop. Very handy

Also, the airport has been moved over the mountains as Leopolishas expansion plans for the area in the very far future.

This, is the map of the Northern and Southern districts.

The average building heights differ in the two districts. As shown here:

This is a part of the CBD, which i a Northern district.

Here are much skyscrapers, and traffic is controlled by big avenues. There is plenty of space between the buildings.

This is a picture of the Southern district: Old Leopolis. Here are low density houses and parks, but the citizens need to drive further to their work.

However, the industrial belongs to the southern districts, as they were build in the same time as the southern districts.

Also, you could see that the farmland is touching the city. It cannot expand any further. However, we are allowed to build an insitute of agriculture, but we will wait a bit longer.

The city has 257.000 inhabitants, so some nice buildings have been unlocked! Also, Three new districts foundations have been laid. 2 southern districts and 1 northern district.

Circumbos is very big and 1/4 of it has been filled.

Sem - Circum is done, and

Copacabana village is still at it's first phase.

Circumbos is on the left, Sem - Circum in the middle, and Copacabana village in the middle-down and near the lake.

Leopolis has his own Bus Company! There's still only 1 line, which is going to the Industrial District.

It's only a test line with a couple of minibuses. At the moment it's effiency is 10%,

but we're going to re-lay the line shortly.

This is Copacabana Palace. A 5 star hotel laying in Capacabana village. Copacabana village will be a very cosy district. Around 10.000 to 15.000 people will come to live there.

On the other side of the district St. Nicholas' Church has been built! Behind it a little market has been layed.

Here's the new highway tunnel. It's 1.3 kilometres long!

On the other side of Leopolis (Vocat) is a piece of land still undeveloped. This is because the company who was about to build the homes, went bankrupt. Leopolis is still looking for a new company.

Welcome to the "Hart of Leopolis": Leopolis Grand Interchange. It's the busiest part of Leopolis, and handles more than 100.000 cars per year!
