i wanna make my own BAT buildings for SC4 but it doesn't work the only differnce is, is that my SC4 Deluxe is downloaded from Kazaa, can someone please tell me how i can get it up and running

You can go buy a full version of SC4 and it'll work.........thats about the only way

you need the sin# to get update for nightlights and to get BAT

but can i use the BAT editor on SC4 without the expansion because i do have the origenal SC4 without the expension

the game is pretty cheap anymore.......I seen it at london drugs for under 20.00 dollars.........if you want to take part in whats going on here you should just go buy it and have fun like the rest of us

yes i have the serial number on the book of the origenal SC4 and then what, what can  do with a bunch of numbers

Go to ea.com and register it.........then get the updates and BAT

you will have to go buy the game yourself or find someone who will sell you thier CD with the codes. Sorry thats the only way it will work.

BTW: I have not been able to find a program that will copy the CD due to copy write..

Nope, it won't work. Considering his sc4 is downloaded, I can conclude that it is cracked. Being cracked, an update which would alter the EXE won't work. Update not working means sc4 won't be patched. No patch = faulty BATs

Try this here link . Simcity's not that hard to get legally. I've never heard of a cracked serial number working on simcity.com.

I also hear pirated versions don't allow some buildings to show.
