Transit-enabling LOTs for ferries - possible?

Is it possible to transit-enable LOTs for ferries or support ferries on puzzle piece? If so, we can create functionals canal systems.

Hi!

I thought about something similar when working on my surface water. My idea was to create a 'ferry-styled' train/elrail and ferry stations/harbours generating those special vehicles (since ferry stations are usually connected to roads (cars/trucks/pedestrians). [remember daeley's first attempts on tram lines with coloured lines]

I set up several oversized water-props (just fighting against those SC4 water lighting issue) that would cover underlaying tracks (y-achsis >= 1.0m). Though, I'm still not captable of BATting, there is no 'ferry'(rail) station available, yet...

Also this could include the Portsmouth Ferry that Frogface keeps bugging me to BAT
