Transit Network/Infrastructure

Hello guys, I am very interested in city-planning, building, etc. (Even in real life)

Anyways one question I have stuck in my mind is about transit.

I know buses don't need a loop system, but for a rail system, or subway network

is what I am confused about, does it need a loop to make it function, or can I make it from

point A to point B.

Also how can I learn about making transit maps (fundamentals, not drawing). If my post is

not understandable, forgive me for this.

Hey Gintongpinoy. I'm not sure about your second question but for the first question the answer is no, you dont need a loop at the end of a rail or subway line however If you like to do the UDI missions, you will need loops at the end of tracks because if you hit the end of the track, it exits and you cant go backwards. If UDI isn't your thing, then there is no reason for a loop.

There is a lot by Uroncha that allows you to make u-turns at the end of your transit lines for UDI missions.
