Slower build time

This thing always annoyed me - in my opinion all buildings in SC4 are built far too fast. I can have in my city a new skyscraper  in, for example, 20 seconds. And I'd like my buildings to rise slowly like in reality. I do not say about yeas, but I'd like to see my buildings built in for example one minute real time. Is there any way to greatly slow time which is needed for all buildings to be built? At least 4 times slower rate would be great.

Hey there,if you have some mods which increases demand,such as the Radical Ordinance Modd installed in your game,it will lead your city growing fast since it increases your RCI Index to the fullest demand,but if you didnt install that mod,i do strongly suggest you increase your taxes to reduce or control your city developments.

I agree that it would be much more realistic if buildings were constructed slower. A fast house takes about 3-4 months to build with a full basement around here. Some in game skyscrapers take about 2 months? I've never seen a mod to slow this down. Honestly I think a lot of people just plop their buildings. I like to watch and let things happen naturally.

No, it's not about any demand  or taxes - I'm saying only about build time - time in which a new building rise from ground level to its final form. In SC4 builings rise approx. 0,5 - 1 floor per second so it takes (for example) 20 seconds to build a 20 story building. I'd like to extend this time and make all buildings rise much slowly.

you could always use the slowest speed setting (first to the right of the pause button). At full speed, days and weeks fly by in scarcely a second so naturally things would seem to spring up instantly. There is no need for a mod when it is already built into the game

That won't solve anything because I always play on the slowest speed...

If you can use iLives Reader you can change the build times, but that would be quite a chore to do all the lots.

Also like realistic build times for roads etc. would be nice... But I don't think there is a mod for it. If anyone knows one, link please...?
