Can We At Least Make the Omicorp Contracts Auto-Renewing?

I understand the point behind having only 5-day, non automatically renewing contracts (I guess... but they can still be frustrating).  But there's no reason Omnicorp contracts can't be automatically renewing or indefinite.  It's not a real player, so it's not like you're going to mess up their city by cancelling at any time.  And if I'm selling to MC, it's because I either can't find a good human buyer, or because I have so much of a resource that it would flood the market.

I am sure that there is some purpose behind having only 5-day contracts to Omni corp.  But I'm just relaying my personal experience- when I have to spend a ton of time re-doing my Omni corp contracts just so I can get back to a positive cashflow and actually enter my city and start playing the game, it is frustrating and makes the gaming experience much less enjoyable for this particular player.

An option for it would be nice but I rather find the best deal available.

but offices for example are often sold to omni so renewing omni deals would be nice

If you autorenew trades, you wont be selling to the players b cuz you wont have to pay attention. You know, every now and then, someone needs offices for his megastructures.

And whats wrong with flooding the market? You cant sell lower than 16.6c anyway... flood it. Share your tokens. Let players get them rather than Omni.

I can't stress enough how annoying I find this.  I want to play Cities XL... but after being away from my computer for a week during the Thanksgiving holidays, I just keep putting off playing because I don't want to deal with the headache of getting back to a positive cashflow.

The three cities that I play the most are -1013, -5151, and -6765 cash tokens.  At least if the Omicorp contracts autorenewed, I wouldn't be in such a hole.  And if not, at least let me change the size of the Omicorp deals.  I would have to manually accept over 80 Omnicorp contratcts to get the -6765 back to normal cashflow.  And in 5 days I'd have to do it all over again.  I don't want to go that route, but if I want to play any time soon, I will have to, otherwise I'll have to wait for all my contracts to be accepted.

Three things that would really help out:

    1) Auto-renewing Omnicorp contracts

    2) Option to renew player-to-player contracts; both players get a popup the day before it expires: "would you like to extend this contract another 5 days?"

    3) Ability to specify the length of a contract

I don't play on-line so I didn't know this. Yet another reason not to go on-line, I definitely don't want to spend half an hour a day/week renewing contracts.

Have you put this idea to MC on their feedback site?  It sounds good.

For my contracts, I try and stagger them across a couple of days so they dont all end at once

I don't understand the point of having only 5-day contracts at all.

Many people are much more casual players, the time should be at least 14 days, preferably selectable to any length.

Via the web you can group sell/buy your stuff with Omni (or with other players). Web trade makes your life easier.

I feel the same about this. I play every couple of days, and everytime I come back, my 3 big cities are full of cancelled contracts with Omnicorp. And on top of it, because the Omnicorp contracts were cancelled, it puts my player contracts in the danger category and the players delete my contracts. So basically, instead of playing the game, I find myself renewing contracts and try to get a positive cashflow for at least 1-2 hours, and then I can start to play my cities. And that's only if I successfully did a positive cashflow, most of times, not enough players at the given time to accept my offers. So for me, CitiesXL is a weird experience, I find myself playing more into the trading section than the actual game. I hope those things change in the future, because the game gets quite boring. And don't get me wrong, I love this game. It's really the only thing I hate a lot. If I'm lucky, per week, I will play 2-3 hours into the construction of the cities, and I spend at least 10-15 hours per week just fixing contracts.
