How do you get Containers on ships?

Hello everyone,

When I build a dock, so my industrie can use the dock for transporting goods, the ships aren't loaded with

containers when they begin to float over the river. While krane's are supposed to load the ships? Is it possible to get that? Or is it a bug wich I can fix?

I'm sorry if this toppic already exist.

The container ship spawned by the Maxis seaport is pure automata that indicates that the seaport is being used. Maxis didn't bother to make an animation showing the actual loading/unloading of the ship, nor did they create a loaded and an unloaded version of the ship itself. It's much the same as the car ferry, where you don't get to see the cars actually driving on or off the ferry.

If you want to give the impression of loaded ships in your harbours you can place ploppable ships instead, e.g. Somy's amazing ships (Japanese site). These are static landmarks and are eyecandy only - but they look fantastic.

Nope.. that is strictly "fake" its all eyecandy and would only be simulated if the maker made timed props that are synchronized.. the PEG CONTAINER SEAPORT does that sort of simulation as I recall .. but as I say it has no relationship to the lot doing its job in the game
