Maxis Plazas Don't Flash

hello all - the 2X2 plaza that comes with rush hour is no longer a fountain - anyone know how i can get that fixed?  it used to be a fountain, but i have been on a custom content downloading frenzy and i honestly can't remember when this happened.  of course i could start removing things until they come back, but i thought i'd do my very first post for this super important question (to me)

Check your game's graphic settings. Something may have caused them to reset to 'Low' where many details won't appear. Otherwise, you may have downloaded something that's conflicting with the game files. Just a thought...

Its also possible that you've dl'd some custom content that overwrote the ingame version.. load up an empty region with no plugins and see if its back

hey - i must have downloaded something that conflicted cause when i got my new computer and super super slowly started adding things back in, i never had that problem again. thanks! DeeCee

I have the same issue since I downloaded the most recent patch (sku2) for the game. I'm playing Simcity 4 - Rush hour. Did you manage to find a solution for that?

Dwro8ea, I had a similar issue after patching and found that the patch sets some detail setting to low. If anything in graphic options is on low, try setting it to high. I believe that, if this is the problem, you need to re-plop buildings without the right props to get the props to appear, such as plazas.
