"Unable to Grade"

So,

I am working on a city and I can't get a bridge where I want it. After some frustrating moments rotating/leveling/repositioning everything under the sun, I try building one in other areas and the same proble,. In fact I can't build a bringe anywhere no matter the length, transit network/debth/shore characteristics.

Has anyone run into this before. I ask in this forum because I just downloaded the RHW a few weeks ago and this is my first attempt at building a bridge since then. I have used RHW extensively so I would rather not just uninstall it unless this is a known bug.

What is it saying when you try to build the bridge? Does it say:

"Unsuitable grade for construction"

"Unsuitable area to build network"

or that it doesn't recognise it as being land - water - land?

You are saying you can't build any type of bridge? What about in other cities or regions. Have you tried without any plugins? I've never heard of it happening, but maybe you have a plugin that interferes with terrain adjustments. Just a thought...

As CaptCity asked: You can't build any type of bridge? Have you tried to start the bridge further away from the shore?

If it's just RHW bridges that troubles you, remember that the "drag-to-build" technique only works for the RHW2 network. Wider RHW networks must be converted to a "regular" network before dragging the bridge, e.g. RHW4 -> Avenue -> RHW4.

If your questions are still to be answered, I suggest you try to be more descriptive and/or add a screenshot.
