big problem for my Cities is commute times. even when i surround the houses with jobs and put them right on the border to another city with thousand of jobs THEY CANT BE BOTHERED TO GO THERE. baaagh

so i looked at this NAM thing and it seems the way to go. but will it change my game around too much? does it act like a cheat? (cuz im not into cheating) and how do i download it in the first place??

thanks

xx

Will it change your game too much? No, not in a bad way.

A cheat? Not at all.

How to? Type "Network Addon Mod" into the STEX search box.

~ COMING SOON! Exciting new projects! ~

The NAM is a must download when you have SC4RH or SC4 Deluxe Edition. It will make a better commuting but it also will enhance your mass transit options to a brand new level.

Ground Light Rail, new highway interchanges, canals, turning lanes, fractional angle roads, realistic railroad curves and switches... Your possibilities will be endless.

Make sure you set it to traffic simulator Z - it's much more realistic (the unmodified game makes traffic way worse than realistic.) Also read carefully before installing so you know what to do.

maybe ultra was the wrong move?

i saw a super change in my cities traffic (everything went green!! yaaay) and people started using my subway (wich they hardly ever do) and my highschools filled up (which has never happened before!) and commute times were short!! and and and it was amazing!

    then it crashed.....

maybe i shouldn't have selected traffic simulator ultra? is there any way i could down that a bit or do i have to uninstall the whole thing or something.

or maybe my city got a bit too big for my computer to handle...

    ?
