I have downloaded sevral modds for SimCity4 Rush Hour but, can't get them to install. I need to know what is needed to make them work.

A list of the mods, where you installed them, and how you are trying them, would be very helpful.

I put them in the plugins folder. They are the NAM, nam essenitals, landmarksmodd, simolean modd .

Did you unzip the downloads? Files from the STEX are 'zip' folders that have to be unzipped, then (usually) those contents need to be placed in the Plugins folder in the Documents/SimCity 4 folder.  NAM, however, comes with an installer (if you downloaded the installer version). You'll need to run the exe file that will place the files in proper location. If you've done all this and still have problems, let us know...

I am experiencing a similar problem. I just got a new laptop with Vista 64-bit. I had some difficulty getting SC4 to run without lagging terribly, but I think I fixed that problem by running with software renderer. Also, I installed in the regular "program files" folder, not x86. I downloaded and installed RH/Deluxe Update 1. Then I downloaded and installed Network Addon Mod, March 2009. I placed in Owner/Documents/SimCity4/Plugins. When I start SC4, NAM does not run. Any thoughts?
