Excellent updates ~ especially the mosaics. Looks like you have some nice things planned for the next ones. I will be stopping by to see what's ahead now that you have more time.

Your Lady Of Peace looks kind of like a dude!

Anyway, excellent CJ as usual, and the mosaics are true eye candy as always! Love the beaches. You've really got a great looking region going here, Aleking!

Alright I found some time to post! Don't worry I have been able to catch every update, but I usually just tell you what I think in chat or something. Is that Lady statue the one along the Mississippi River near Grafton, IL? At least I think it's the Mississippi... The Missouri R., Illinois R., and Mississippi R. meet up right there... Anyway the name sounded famaliar... Well everything is looking top-notch as usual, we couldn't expect anything less from you. Great work, you deserved those 1,000 comments, and you deserve 1,000 more... Trixies are coming up, and I see your name written all over the CJ awards.

Sweet updates, alek! The mosaics were all good. I really like the look of your suburbs from region view. So realistic.

    Great work!

First of all the rural builder in me loves that rural region overview with those farms and immediately asks for some rural closeups 2.gif. As far as I can see in the overview the traffic lines seem to run logical. But I cannot spot any small village / seddlement ?!? 41.gif

What I like at your overview is that the big town ends at the forrested mountain. Allthough you could argue that especially in these areas you may find some R$$$ seddlements - your solution is one side - hillside R$$$ the other side of the spectrum of possibilities ... (which means we have here a perfect question of personal taste and preference ...)

    Great work!

ok just a little memo to my readers i caught a nasty bug this week
so I haven't done much lately except lie in bed and roll out nOObz
    in Halo2 online.

Anyways, glad to see you around Bryan, I had a feeling you had
just been lurking, anyways your support for this cj has always been
great, so thanks a million buddy.

And Nardo thanks for the nice reply I had originally
planned for apartments and such, but decided to go
with the mountains to give it that Rio de Jeneiro look,
which was also the idea behind the statue looking over
    the city.

    Nice mosaics Alek.

I have found a great mod that you could use. It is included in a pack of other mods, so make sure you carefully remove what you do and do not want. It is the 'Reconciling Mod V2' by Larkyboof over at SCC. Basically whenever you reconcile a city, it is MUCH more accurate to being in line with the neighboring cities. I can tell the borders of your cities, especially in the mountainous areas, because the default reconcile doesn't align them perfectly.  Here is the link to the download, but remember it comes in a pack with other mods, so read carefully.

    Oh. My. GOD! 6.gif
I can't still find any words to describe your work! It looks so real and cool, that I can just imagine of something like it... Well, I guess I could just simply call it magnificent. If it continues like this, I will faint of awe. Already you put so many other city-builders to shame... Not that they are bad or anything, but you are just incomparable in that area.

Alek, your region shots are the best I have seen....Simply stunning.  The terraforming you have done is top notch.  The mosaics are also, as always, very impressive.

    Absolutely amazing !!

It's this kind of skill that inspires the new CJ writers like myself to keep going. If I can produce something a tenth as good as this I'll be a happy man.
