I still think your downtown is too spaced out, but nonetheless it looks fantastic. The highway in the middle of now-where is cool........ still.44.gif18.gif

    Hi Aleking,

I love the nature shots! they look lovely. Great CJ so far; can't wait for more! Just one thing I personally didn't like was the diagonal layout of the down town; it makes it so spread out and open, which I find less realistic for a downtown area. The look of it in general is great though but better for a suburban office park idea or something like that! 44.gif

    HAND TERRAFORMED
thanks for the input i was experimenting and i agree it is quite open if
you read back i was going for a sort of capitol city kind of look so i wanted
    lots of open plaza space

Meridian the largest city is the most dense and i guess more realistic

anyways i made a HUGE region addition bringing the size to 5x5 large tiles

    Massive glaciers and lakes

This is an amazing CJ. That region looks really good and very realistic. Can't wait for more. Oh and I just love that huge picture of the terrain and highway. It joins really well. You've done a tremendous job.

glad people seem to enjoy the nature mosaics since the
this is a hand terraformed region i appreciatte it

the two mosaics are of two different maps
the alpine one shows the regions largest mountain

    Mt Loktov

i outlined where the mosaics were taken

Its been to long since I last paid a visit here and I must say everytime I come back your terraforming grows on me.The mountains and forests are some of the best around and you can't mess with hand terraforming it is the only way to go when you are making such a great realistic region.I don't know if I had said this before, but you get my vote when trixie season comes around!44.gif

    Great job!29.gif
