[Please read the rules below if its your first time posting here. Rules last edited: 9/24/2010]

[stickied, as thread is approaching completion]

Hey everyone! Let's go to 10,000 posts now! BTW, if there is already a thread like this ON SIMTROPOLIS, moderators please stop me. LETS GO!!!

1, but who's counting!

--Simtropolis Moderator Edit--

1. 2 post rule is in effect, as with any forum game. If you are unsure what that is, go see the forum game rules.

2. Your post cannot be just the number, generally it should follow the ongoing conversation.

3. If you happen to double post by forum glitch, please do not delete the post, simply edit it and give it the right number. This is to reduce the chance and intensity of the PFB and/or any further posts after (Then a moderator will have to come in and correct all the affected posts)

3a. Under no circumstances is anyone to delete a post made in this thread (that includes your own).

4. There exists a 1 post PFB on this thread. Please use caution when posting on a page that is already long. If your post doesn't show up, change the URL to increment a page.

Example: www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=48&threadid=109732&startpage=78 to www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=48&threadid=109732&startpage=79

5. Spamming is strictly prohibited and doing so will have you be smitten by the bunnies.

6. Obviously, include the number in your post.

7. If the number gets out of hand, stop posting and contact a Forums Games moderator.

2. This sounds like it might just become spam really quickly. 10,000 posts would also be 333 pages long, and would thus take ages to load.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

3. I agree, it would take ages to load. But it would be interesting one day to flip through and see all the users that joined in. Like a memory scrap book or something/

Yes, this is kitty.

4. Perhaps, though I don't think it will hit 10.000. BTW: Is there a 2/3 post rule already in place in this thread? If not, one should be placed.

Regards,

Korot

6. Korot: The two post rule always applies in forum games.

7. Wouldn't it be cool though, if we asked every member to post in here once, so we could have a scrap book of sorts? And seven is my lucky number, so this post makes me happy!

Yes, this is kitty.

It would stretch 10 posts onto page 334, actually. (333 × 30 = 9990).

And the number of "replies" a message is stead to have does not include the OP. So at 10000 posts the listed number of replies would be 9999.

Unles it's a trivia game, which this is not, so it applies here.

If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

9. Thanks for the correction, Duke. Oh, and by the way, your "Why Should The Person Above You Be Banned" thread just passed 2,000 replies. Chptrk here made the post. I banned him for it. 3.gif

15. Should we have any sort of topic here, or should it be more conversational?

10100: Roman? I prefer binary myself. So far, my day's gone pretty well. How about yours?

Edit: Changed 10010 to 10011 because 10010 was 18 when it should have been 10011 which is 19.

Edit 2: Changed 10011 to 10100 because this is actually post 20. Chptrk, yours should be post 21.

21: Hey everyone! Check your numbers! Korot and I both said 16, so everyone was thrown off a number. Well, binary makes little sense to me, so maybe astronelson is ok, 3.gif but the rest of you gotta do a little editing. Just letting you all know!

*edit*  ...Well, at least I noticed the wrong number. Umm... two heads are better then one?

Yes, this is kitty.

Smacks head against wall, multiple times. Oops, my mistake, I guess I was just tired or something. *whistles silently*

16 (hex) or 22 in decimal.

24. Why are you so confused? (Great, another question.2.gif) And I almost didn't post, because you two have the same avatar, and I almost didn't look at the names.

Ok, I admit it, I make a few spelling errors...

Yes, this is kitty.

30. Rhyme yes, poetry, no.

Thirty is, I think you'll find, a number right for me;

Its factors are the following, two, five, three.

A couplet written in trochaic heptameter.
