Personally, if I'm going to watch sports, it has to be live. If the game is already over, I see no point, as I can just go online and look up how it ended. 

See, I think that a lot of people who are fans like to watch players perform. I really don't care about that, for me watching is purely "Ooh, what's gonna happen next? Who's gonna win?"... and thus the purpose is entirely defeated if the outcome has already been decided.

Three days ago, a massive celebration was held to celebrate their Stanley Cup victory, and 2 million people completely filled a four mile long stretch of Michigan Avenue for the better part of twelve hours.

You know, this idea that the northern hemisphere is the top and the southern hemisphere is the bottom has no scientific basis, it's just a mapping convention resulting from Eurocentrism. Planets don't have tops and bottoms, gravity pulls towards the middle all the same no matter where you are.
