Personally, I refuse to see Alice in Wonderland unless Tom Petty is the Mad Hatter and eats Alice (who's made out of cake) at the end, the cheshire cat is actually two twins dressed up as cats, and Alice is rescued by Sora at some point.

I wasn't going to either. But when your power's out, all of a sudden going to see some stupid movie seems like a fun idea.

As it turns out, given where we live, we were lucky to have our power back Tuesday morning after only 57 hours or so out. There are friends of ours around here who didn't have their power back until Thursday or Friday. The public schools in town were closed all week, since a couple of them still didn't have power by opening time Friday morning, and one of the high schools was still being used as a "shelter" for people who are dependant on electricity to do things like keep their insulin refrigerated.

So, my sister was home all week. My other sister, by pure coincidence, was on spring break from college this week. Thus, all three of us were around, which was nice. That doesn't happen much anymore.
