As far as I know, the program files folder has the original region city files. look for them there, and copy it all back to your my-documents region folder.(this is where your work is actually stored.) I haven't tried it, but I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work. 4.gif

Good luck, and I hope this helps you 4.gif ! -blakesterville.

You could go into the region file in My Documents -> SimCity 4, find the region you want, and then delete all the city files... but that'll probably have some consequences.

If you imported a greyscale image, I'd assume that reimporting it would get rid of all your cities.

Finally, if you terraformed it yourself, I guess your only option is to go and obliterate all the cities by hand.

If they are regions that came with the game [default], there are backup copies of those in the Program Files\Maxis\Simcity 4\Regions folder.  You can overwrite [copy] the  [My] documents region folders with those to get them back to the origional state.

You can do this hard way where you go to regions folder and do something to get rid of them(without deleting them that is)

or the easy way:KILL ALL THE CITIES

If you let the game install by default the Maxis folder should have this path:

C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Regions

If not, do a file/folder search for Simcity, that will bring up several files and folders.

Then just go to the path "/my documents/simcity 4/regions/" and replace the existing folder... Its not a bad idea to back up your my-documetns folder, jsut so you dont end up losing it all, because this will replace the existing region unless you re-name your new folder.
