monorail-elevated highway crossing?

fairly new to simcity. prefer elevated highways for several reasons but can not figure out how to cross monorail with highways. looked for new plugin-didnt see any fixs. please any suggestions?

on the nam there is someting called high monoraIl puzzle pieces.

use these to cross.

or u could make a short section ground and let monorail cross there

Download the NAM, then just drag the monorail over the highway and it should form a cross.

Can't you just drag the monorail over, but you need a long distance so it can ramp up? I think the EL works this way too.... you just have to start like 4-6 tiles back.

doesnt work with me if i drag the monorail simply over the elevated highway... and i have NAM

Someone suggested to run a ground-level highway piece and lay the monorail track over it. I think the highway and MR trail are of the same height, thus it won't work. I never tried this but believe this is the reason why it's not working.

I think the monorail over elevated highway takes about 10 tiles clear.  I have stopped using it, I raise the terrain enough for a monorail tunnel, make the tunnel, then level the terrain enough to lay the elevated highway level.  After that I camouflage the entrances with tree parks.

With the NAM installed, open the Rail menu, find the Double Height Monorail pieces, then use those pieces to cross the EMHWY.

Yeah, I often switch to ground highway; make the cars take a dip for the rail!
