User Interface Edit?

Hi to all ready to help, or suggest solutions.

I have to say, I find UI in SC4 a bit dull. I can think of some solutions that would speed up my or anyone work and fun.

So I started to think are there any UI Editors?

Or maybe there are already any mods for this??

Unfortunatelly google didn't bing any useful help.

So maybe anyone of You could help or suggest me anything??

I don't think making an entirely new UI is possible.

Maybe GNU developers could make a SimCIty 4 clone; I'm tired of the SimCity 3000 clones.

The UI be modifed quite a bit, there are certain limitations, like the menus have to stay on the left side of the screen. But almost everything else can be moved around and redecorated. But just editing the PNGs in the SC_1.dat you can change the look of the UI, without moving any buttons and kepping the layout the same.

Yeah like scrolling for 40 seconds to plop a skyscraper is really boring, a list in catergories would be nice, if it is possable

That's one idea. I'd also like to generally give more caterogies, and submenus.

Unfortunately, submenus are not possible. The closest thing we can get is the DAMN (Daeley's Advanced Menu Navigator).
