I found the one you want. It's on Highway 380 if I remember correctly, but right now, the USGS site is having issues again and says there is no info for the area I selected. I'll have to try to get the DEM data later.

Yes, it is on 380! And no problem! I'm just happy to know that I'll be getting one sometime!

Ok, after I posted a response to your request of Sacramento, I decided to give it another go.  This is what I came up with

    sacramentotf01.jpg

It's not perfect, but this is the best I could come up with.  If this is satisfactory to you, I'll render it and release it along with the next batch of California maps coming up sometime in the next several weeks.44.gif

    How's this?

Now I know there is a lake there somewheres, but not exactly sure where.  If you know where it's at precisely, then feel free to add it in when when loading the sc4m file in TerraFormer.  I did make the 2 rivers a bit wider than they actually are [at least according to the data], but left the 3 tributaries to their natural width.  The 3 tributaries were not smoothed at all, left them rough cut but did lightly smooth the two main rivers.  The elevation was lowered a bit so I could add the rivers in, but the map is accurately scaled for size.  If this is satisfactory, I'll render it and get to you as soon as possible.

I don't think it goes far enough north to show the lake. Could you make it cover a little more to the east?

But otherwise excellent and thanks again!

sacrament map looks great blade, appreciate it. The elevation thing, no wonder flooding is a huge concern in the area....lol.

    Your maps are great!

Awesome maps, guys! If you're in the mood to entertain requests, could I entreat upon you to do one of St. Maarten? There's already one on the STEX that only works only with a mod I can no longer find and I can't get it to work properly without. Also a map of St. Lucia, if I may be so bold?

I've added these to the list,29.gif but I can't say when I can get started on them.  At the moment, I'm working on finishing up the remaining maps covering the US. outside of the several dozen already completed.  When I do, you'll be the first to know44.gif

Thanks for your imput and suggestions.  Much appreciated19.gif

Hope you don't mind me asking, but did you ever get a chance to make the Oregon maps that I requested a while ago?

Would love to have one for Ashland and the Oregon/CA border area along Interstate 5, as well as Eugene-Springfield so that I can build the University of Oregon 29.gif

Also, for your next California batch, can I request the area along Interstate 80 east of Sacramento?  Specifically Roseville and surrounding areas?

Sorry to be such a pain with all these requests 9.gif -- but I really like your maps and pretty much base 95% of my cities off them.  Thanks!

I thought I mentioned those maps except the Ca/Or border request, were done and would be released within the next few weeks.  Astoria, Eugene, Salem and Crater Lake [minus water, elevation is higher in crater bowl than the surrounding areas around the crater].  I used to live in Bend and may do a map of that growing city, as well as Mt. Bachelor and Three Fingered Jack44.gif

Since California is one of those States that has many, many areas to map, there will be many more Ca maps to come in the near future.  I'll take a look at I80 east of Sacramento and see what I can do44.gif

Ok, the requested Graham Texas map from CLR95 has been released to the STEX and is now available for your downloading pleasure.  Coming up tomorrow is the nations 4th largest city, Houston.

    Houston [9x9 lrg tiles]

In this Texas series there will be 4 more Texas maps, Ft. Worth, Dallas, Austin, Wichita Falls and Waco.  To see what other areas of Texas have been mapped already, refer to the opening post on page 1 to get a complete list of those already released9.gif

Thanks for dropping in and do come again.

Thanks! It's awesome! You mentioned a Wichita Falls map earlier? Is it going to be released in the Texas series as well?

Oops, yes it is.  Reason I didn't list it is because that folder containing the map files is sitting on my desktop and not in my mapping folder3.gif

Yes! Now I'll have a place to put all the Dallas buildings on the STEX!

I told you once before that I was gonna name a city after you, and here it is!

It's in your Athens region, and is currently just a small suburb of my main city, but will eventually become part of the Southeast Athens Metropolitan Area.

Cool9.gif  Looks pretty good.  I just spent my entire day cutting weeds down in a culvert today and this was refreshing surprise when I finally got home.  Thanks44.gif
