Looking at new laptop will this machine run SC4RH

My note book bit the dust a month back. I have transfered backups to a 5 year old computer to keep playing SC4RH in the mean time. 

I have located a laptop on newegg.com that I am interested in but it has Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  Here is a summary of the machines specs.  No use to me if it won't run SC4RH,

SC4 is a fairly old game, that computer can probably run it on full settings with good FPS's.

My laptop has 2gb RAM, 2.0gHz dual core CPU, and an X1200 card and it runs SC4 just fine.

I'm more worried about it being Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  From what I saw on the board some have no problems and others have it running slow under Vista.

Well I used to run the game on a laptop that has Vista, it crashed all the time but that may have been the laptops fault. I'm using a desktop with Vista Home Premium 64 bit and it hasnt crashed at all. My guess would be to make sure your laptop just doesnt overheat (that was my problem) Hope this helps!

Pretty much any new computer can run SC4. It's not a demanding game by today's standards.

I use a laptop and Vista Home Basic and it runs OK, except for the occasional crash, so save often.
