Trouble with installing regions

Ok, so today I decided to try and download a region from the STEX.

Struggeling to install it I used www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm to help me.

'20)  On the keyboard, press and hold the following key combination:  Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R.

21  This will bring up the Grayscale Image File dialog box.

22)  Browse to the folder created in Step 3), above. <<<<<<<-----------------

23)  Select the grayscale map image JPG file and click on the OK button.'

So close to the end of the installation I get stuck on step 22. I managed to open the window with Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R. But when I try to browse for my file, the folders in the window seem to be unclickable. I hit about every possible key I could find, without success. I have also tried finding a solution on the internet, but also without results.

Has anyone experienced this problem, too? Or am I just stupid and am I doing something wrong? Please help me

To be able to reach the image really quickly, just drop the file into you "Hard Drive" folder. This is the folder that is automatically opened when you press, Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R. (this will determine if you can open files and not folders, or nothing at all.)

You should be able to scroll down, and click on the image. If not, then post again, and we will try and figure out why you cant get to it.
