Cities XL Beta direct download link

Mine finally extracted fine but when I installed it the shortcut pointed to citiesxl.exe, which there is none.

I'm really starting to hate CitiesXL.

Anybody know which download mirrors actually WORK?

downloaded citiesxl, no prob

downloaded to desktop so it wouldn't get lost,

tried to extract and install with winzip, no go!!

downloaded and installed latest winrar, no probs

tried to install from winrar program, reports file(s) corrupt,

extracted to desktop, still reports corrupt...

Need Help Please!!!! What am I doing wrong??????

Follow the instructions after you have registerred and you should be ok

I am downloading now, they are HUGE files, gonna take many hours because its coming in slow. Anyhow, the filenames are in english even though i downloaded from a french site. Maybe someone who has finished downloading the beta and has it installed can answer this? Perhaps only part of it is translated to english like the menus but not the rest of the content? I dunno i haven't installed yet.

The links are only French and German, BUT, I clicked on link to download the peer-to-peer and everything is in English and the file is downloading - 75% now.

try the p2p, I got a speed of over 10mb/s and it's done within 3minutes! plus ,it's in English

Firewall, it should have prompted you for access.  The built in Windows 7 firewall asked me for access.

How did you know the speed? The downloader is just the Cities XL logo with a status bar. One that, for me at least, likes the number zero too much.

Got mine through a special downloader that they had there AND it was English. For unpacking into the computer-less than an hour. 45 mins. abts. well, that was for me, though.

Sorry to say, I do believe the server is down ATM. I think I read on their site that they are puddling around with ,I would expect the servers, as well as the site to fix it for more traffic later supposed to be fixed.

I got one time, tryied to register, put the key but when I click on "send registration" the web site goes down again....
