    OK, hi guys, took me some time to find the new thread but here I am. Go Stingers, go Tridents, go STHL.

    EDIT: And strangely enough, I see I got a Blue in the draft. Hopefully Pietrangelo will make the starting lineup in the STHL, as he has done in the NHL due to injury.

    Want to improve your team?

    Here's the Deal.

    Each Team has a limit of 27 Players

    You get 100 Points per UFA Session

    Bid on Players to improve your team as well as add depth for injuries

    Each Player has a Minumum Bid to them(Asking) You can either bid that or bid more just remeber to not go over 100

    it may seem confusing but it's not really

    I'll leave the bids up for 3 Days after 3 Days the Highest bidder gets that player

    Like:

    Bids:

    player 1 - 50

    player 2 - 50

    player 3 - 50

    player 4 - 50

    And then you go through the list in order?

    How are ties decided?

    Lol, I plan on making some moves in this signing period.

    Also, how is the game deciding who to play? For example, I have a player with the flu listed in the lineup and a better player at the same position on the bench. Will the guy on the bench play until the guy with the flu is better?

    Yup I actually raised it to 28 though guess I forgot to amend that in my post

    If you lose a bid you get the points back. You could do that but the issue is seeing who your really after

    Ok the game decides based on matchps who plays better with whom. Hence why I always say look at the Style over the Overall a team of all 90's and all pfw's will never score enough goals and likewise a team of all 75's and SNP will be a bunch of puck hogs. So you see it's all based on chemistry. As to the player with the Flu when he recovers his rating will spike back up as to why he's in game still well much like the NHL he's playing through it.

    Chemistry works in weird ways

    ok maybe not so weird

    think about this

    3 PFW's on one line= all guys who wanna hit and not really shoot so no goals

    3 SNP's on one line= 3 Guys who all want the puck and want to shoot which means not enough offenive production as they're not passing

    3 PLY on one line= 3 Guys who want to pass the puck so not alot of shots

    3 DNG's on one line= 3 Gusy who want to dangle alot

    best line combo's are usually

    PFW-PLY-SNP or PLY-SNP-DNG you kinda need to balance a line EA Does this for me I stopped controling lineups for people as it got way too hard for me to do 30 rosters constanty and having to try and update people's lineups I allow the Auto Coach set function to work and it's really good at it if your lineup is balanced.

    Defensively is a bit subject to the guy on D not the type

    OD's are Guy's who like to shoot and cary the puck as Dmen 2 on one par can sometime be defensive trouble in some cases 2 OD's are a great pair

    DD's are guys who like the defensive game and not as much ofense 2 of these guys together can hurt your breakouts and have a tendancy to hang back more again though it depends on the player

    the Chemistry is calculated by EA on how well players work with each other I don't know what or how EA does it,but it does it. A good example of Rosters that have worked the best are EAR,RVF,PRV,RCO those 4 teams have consistantly been in the tops for a reason Xiahoudun and I both are good at building teams apperantly. Alot of the work comes through trades.

    Now SPS has been pretty good they've been hit by injuries at times.SPT I have no clue what's wrong with them yet lol.

    Which is actually the same day Winchester Warriors put their original bid in on him, they bid early early Wednesday morning and I doubled it Wednesday night. 2.gif

    I think you missed that I was bidding on someone who already had an offer in, then awarded him to the other team, then noticed my offer but thought it was too late. Or am I missing something?
