Ovechkin! (shakes fist in air again.)

We actually held our own through a lot of the games, but that Game Three collapse was brutal. 6-0! Game Four another collapse, allowing 5 straight goals, but we did mount a comeback and only lost 5-4. I know it's still a loss but I like to see that kind of grit. Game Five, they just took charge early and we didn't have another comeback in us I guess.

Ah well. There's always next year, though who knows if the Stingers will remain in Sephora?

Anyway, congrats to the River Otters.

mentarman- lol Crapbiscuits? is that a dish served warm or cold? As you said you did hold your own with the exception of one game most of those could've went either way. And I'm glad to hear that they'll return hopefully the Tridents will as well. I think things may be different for you next season as I'm working on plans to help improve the overall of the league so it's not the same 4 or 5 teams all the time(although a team that did make 4 straight finals apperances did miss out on the playoffs lol) More info on that will come with the "State of the League Address" which will take place before the Finals.

2010 State of the League Address

Good Afternoon,

Tonight We Decend apon the City of Earlton for the 2010 Gretzky Cup Finals. For the third time in the Franchises History it is once again in the finals. And for the First time in 4 Years the Nation of Rorysville's Grip on the Don Cherry Conference was released as the Anchor Isles Fire have made the Finals. Congratulations to both Organizations. Two great owners have guided their Clubs here. We look back to last year when we met for the 2009 Gretzky Cup Finals. Rorysville and Earlton met again for the Championship as that series concluded 30 Franchises looked forward to a new start and a chance at Glory. This season we saw a very competative balance as the season went on. 2 Outdoor Games the First in League History. As well as the League winning a Trixie award for Best Sports League .Races for the Playoffs were tight as teams fought to the very last day to get in. With all this going I come to you today to say the State of Our League is Strong. From here what do we move to next season? Well for one all 30 Teams will be asked their intentions for Retainership after that all Rosters will receive an Overhaul as teams will only be allowed to keep 10 Players on their roster all remaining players will be put into a draft to shake the league up even more giving all 30 Teams a new look. Next season will also see the return of the Game of The Week with Pictures! All Players in the League will also be reranked with their abilities and stats changed to match what they really are.
