Need Help

I downloaded Maps from Stex,
and everything is fine, until I finished rendered the map.
All it comes up is either a blue sky or only green land, no map no nothing.
I already followed all the description and stuff.

Can anyone tell me where I gone wrong?
And it happened all the time.

This is a bug. If you swith (ctrl-alt) during the render process, some or all of the cities will appear as normal tiles. The only way to solve this is start the game without inteference, start the render process without interference, and LEAVE IT for the entire process. Make sure that the screensaver is off.

I did that already, everything with no intereference or anything. Is there a way to fix the bug ?
Or does this only happened to me ? Anyone ???

I'm not sure whether you tried it yet.... but try opening one of your cities? When you load it, does it show up like it's supposed to? Or is it still flat land?

It is just the maps that I download from Stex, the original cities that come with the RH and sim city 4, works fine.

What I mean is.... go to one of your newly rendered regions, and open a city. Make sure what it looks like in region view is the same as what it looks like in the city view.

Yeap, it looks like a blue sky, the same as the region view,
Here is the attachment of what a city looks like. THe region is the same, but just with so many tiles.

Hmm... it seem that city is completely under water. That's really strange.

I don't know what to say. What maps are you trying to render? Maybe I can render them for you and then email them to you...

Your welcome, any time you need something pre-rendered just ask the map maker and I'm sure he'll be happy to do it.
